Man Sells his Daughter in other to Settle Gambling Debts - VIDEO

A man has allegedly sold his daughter to settle his gambling debts of £6,800. However, he has been arrested and facing charges.

The man, known only by his surname of Jiang, is accused of selling the girl, aged one, after becoming addicted to online gambling. Jiang told his wife that the girl would be staying with her grandmother.



Instead, he sold his daughter to a couple in Guiyang, Guizhou, for the amount of money he needed to pay off his debt. Last November, Jiang
told his wife their daughter would be staying with his mother in Zunyi city, about 100 miles away.

The mother grew suspicious after she hadn’t heard from her daughter for nearly three months. Her husband would give excuses about where their little girl was and different reasons why her return was delayed, according to local media reports.


The mother checked her husband’s phone in February and discovered a screenshot of the conversation where Jiang sold their daughter. She reported the case to police and her husband fled.
